There's a room for all your needs at The Apple Tree London

Whether you've been to the Apple Tree before, or you're new to the party; there is lots of new things on offer from London's newest LGBTQ+ space. As if having a fabulous bar in central London (Farringdon/Clerkenwell) wasn't good enough, they've just launched a mainly-vegan food menu and have 6 rooms available to hire for the community to use.

The Apple Tree London now has 6 spaces available to hire including a therapy room and massage room!

The ground floor

The ground floor features the main bar, and gender-neutral toilets which come complete with chalk to draw on the walls (what more could you ask for?).

The first floor

The Function Room at The Apple TreeThe first floor features the main Function Room which is great for private events, and also doubles up as a dining space. It is warm, calm and welcoming and great for small to medium-sized parties, gatherings, workshops and talks. It can hold around 45 people seated and 75 people standing. It has high ceilings and good natural light and even air-conditioning for the three weeks of heat in the Summer! There is an in-built sound system and a wall-mounted screen. This room really does have everything you might need.

The Yellow Room at The Apple TreeAlso on the first floor is the Yellow Room.

This is colourful yet quiet and ideal for meetings, readings, rehearsals, small workshops with a capacity of around 15. It also benefits from high ceilings and good light. It is away from the main function room and the main stairs so would suit meditation groups and games nights too! This room features a gorgeous fire place so would also suit as a living room away from home for friends wanting to chill out if they live somewhere without communal space, or with an annoying flatmate!

The second floor

The second floor may be up another flight of stairs, but it is well worth the effort!

The Corner Room is a delightful little room, benefiting from good light. It is similar in size to the yellow room, with a slightly lower capacity of 10-12. This could also make a great little hideaway for someone wanting to have somewhere quiet to work, write their novel or just be alone; but with the benefit of food and drink on tap without the washing up! With free wifi this space could easily become a base camp for a day or two for important projects in the City.

The Red Room at The Apple TreeThe Red Room is a perfect little hideaway that is perfect for intimate yoga or pilates classes, meditation, or for board games. With capacity of around 15-20 the opportunities are endless. As with every other function room, this one also offers great natural light and feels welcoming and warm. This room could also offer a space for an artist to display their work. It would be great for rehearsals, meetings, and anything else you can think of.

The benefit of community space, is that the owners really are open to your ideas and suggestions!

The Therapy Room offers a safe space to have a one on one meeting. Featuring two comfy chairs, a sofa and warm light; this is perfectly created as a space to help bring the community and counsellers and support workers together. Which such high levels of poor mental health within the LGBT+ community, The Apple Tree London have proved once again that they really do know their audience and have their best interests in mind!

The Massage Room is another excellent space that will no doubt be popular and highly sought after. Featuring a massage table and chaise longue; for the entrepreneurs in our community who are wanting to reach new audiences, and not have to carry around a heavy massage table this space is perfect. I know several women who offer massages, sound healing and reiki and this kind of space can be hard to find.

If you are interested in talking to The Apple Tree about these spaces, then get in touch with them! Hire fees are really reasonable, and also negotiable; at the end of the day they want the community to use the space and so have a chat with them about your ideas.
