Book Review of The U-Haul Diary by KB Draper

The U-haul Diary is honestly one of the funniest books I have ever read. K.B. Draper has a wit and quirkiness about her like none other. K.B.'s story telling abilities left me wanting to be her friend by the end of the book. She has to be a hoot in real life to write the way she does.

A Hilarious Look Into One Lesbian's Semi-Fictional Autobiography

Book cover - The U-Haul Diary by KB DraperThe U-haul Diary is a lose semi-fictional book outlining K.B.'s experiences and life lessons while trying to find "the one"... in which she details the good, the bad and the ugly. To give a slight glimpse of her sense of humor...the devil and angel that speak to each of us figuratively speaking...K.B.'s angel speaks to her in Dolly Parton's voice and the devil speaks to her in Lil Richard's voice, complete with all the "oooooh girl". Who comes up with this stuff!? The funnies don't stop there, she goes on to speak about bathroom habits, grooming habits (blonde chia pet), and many other subjects most people would be humiliated to write about, K.B. addresses each and every one head on.

This story is completely hilarious, very well written, and 99% of all lesbians can relate to at least one situation in this book. Do yourself a favour, buy the book!

The U-Haul Diary Synopsis

What do you get if you add twelve ex-girlfriends, four overly involved friends, glow-in-the-dark body paint, a lesbian nemesis, a stripper pole, a casino surveillance tape, a three legged cat, the restroom at the Astrodome, the restroom at the local lesbian bar, the restroom at the Sheriff’s department, Jesus’ gay boyfriend, Bigfoot and a near-death experience with an appropriately attached life changing lesson? The U-haul Diary – aka the story of my dating life.

The U-haul Diary is a comedic retelling of my unsuccessful, dysfunctional, sometimes unbelievable, life of dating a wide and varying array of women who moved in and out of my life (and house). I hope you learn a little, and laugh A LOT!
