Billie #hatesherjob and is desperate for a change, so she quits mere months before getting married. When she breaks the news to her fiancée Gayle, things don’t go exactly as planned. Billie meets a ragtag group of women who are also looking for employment, and is struck with the idea of cultivating their skills to create an app for freelancers.

A fast paced Comedy of Errors! A quirky story written, directed, and starring an ensemble cast of women. Freelancers Anonymous is part of a brand with a narrative story that will crossover to integrate on multiple platforms for a truly unique and engaging experience.

Meet the Freelancers

The film wrapped principal photography in Chicago on October 5th and has moved directly into post- production! The team has partnered with non-profit Fiscal Sponsor Full Spectrum Features to raise funds on Seed & Spark, which will go toward Marketing, Music Licensing, PR, Film Festival Costs, Post- Production - Color Correction, Sound Design and Legal fees.

Freelancers Anonymous isn't just another indie film bringing visibility to the LGBTQ community and women in tech... It’s a comedy too! The producers have a lot in store for the Freelancers and are launching a transmedia company to cross from film and media to usable technology.

Executive Producers: Karen K. Dixon, Dr. Nan Schaffer, Celia Z. Kahn, Sonia Sebastian, Amy Dellagiarino and Lisa Cordileone Producer: Eugene Sun Park Associate Producers: Dr. Erica Kuhlmann and William Hutchens Produced by Full Spectrum Features in association with Black Apple Media.

Freelancers Anonymous isn't just another indie film bringing visibility to the LGBTQ community and women in tech... it's a comedy too! Here's what's different: we are launching a transmedia company! This film is only the beginning of the story.

What if we experience the Freelancers on multiple platforms to learn more about them? What if we practice what we preach and launch the actual app the Freelancers develop in the story? What if we blur the lines between story and reality to create jobs for women and the LGBTQ community working in STEM industries?
