7 women and 1 fab gay guy go to a remote ranch for some R&R, but things go horribly wrong when one by one they are killed by their own vanity
About Crazy Bitches
Seven women and one fab gay guy plan a getaway birthday weekend for their friend, Alice. Escaping to an eccentric, secluded ranch, the girls settle in for several days of gossip, girl time and grub.
They start off where they always do, old rivalries in place, extreme vanity covering great insecurities, but a true love for each other underneath the bickering, sniping and sassing.
A number of drinks into the first evening, they uncover a dark secret. Their rental house is the site of a mass murder of teenage girls on a sleepover 15 years earlier. Blood stains the floors under replacement carpets. The killer still runs free.
The girls take it for what it seems – a fun story to tell on a rainy night in front of a roaring fire. But after one of them disappears and the others find her dead, the story doesn’t seem so fun anymore.
Soon the girls turn on each other, accusing one another of jealousy, chemical imbalance and murder. The accusations are improbable, sort of, but could one of them have actually done it? The weekend turns into a race against death. Who will make it out alive?

About the director
With the comedy/horror film CRAZY BITCHES, Jane Clark ventures into a new genre with a great deal of glee. Her feature career was launched producing the hit romance, ELENA UNDONE for Nicole Conn. She quickly followed with her first foray into feature directing, writing and producing with METH HEAD, a searing tale of addiction starring Lukas Haas, Wilson Cruz, Necar Zadegan, Candis Cayne, Tom Sizemore and Theo Rossi. The film played over 30 international festivals and won 12 awards, including Best Feature, Best Screenplay, Best Director and Best Lead Actor. It released June 2014.
She began her career making short films including the period lesbian romance,THE TOUCH, starring then unknown actors Traci Dinwiddie and Necar Zadegan. That short played over 30 international festivals, won Best Dramatic Short at QCinema and was nominated several times for Best Short Film.
She began as an actor on stage, screen and TV, including a lead role in the lesbian romance THREE ON A MATCH (billed as Janet Lark due to SAG issues). She also enjoyed a two-year stint as a recurring nurse on “Chicago Hope.”
“Before CRAZY BITCHES, I had made seven short films and two features. Each presented new experiences and unique challenges. CRAZY BITCHES was no exception. This was a complicated set – a large cast, a small house, an understaffed crew, all-nighters, no time, and little money. That made CRAZY BITCHES difficult on many levels, but one of the most frustrating was the limited hours in which to work. Camera effects take more time. Stunts take more time. Shooting at night takes more time. Getting a large number of actors through the work takes more time. Moving too quickly creates mistakes and that takes more time. I found it necessary to make very hard compromises and very quick decisions to cut scenes, drop shots, limit takes, rewrite on the spot and find smart, fast and affordable solutions to the strangest of problems. (A llama is loose! Seriously?) But when I watch the finished film, those memories fade away. I sit and laugh. I am so proud of what we all overcame to get a good movie in the can, and I am especially pleased that, in fact, we got a really good, scary, funny, sexy, meaningful movie in the can. Making the film was CRAZY and definitely a BITCH, but the end result slays.”
